I interacted with a Muslim for some time, in person and also through e-mail. I met him on the street at a university. He had told me that he was searching for truth and was considering Christianity. After a number of months of prayerfuly trying to convice him of the diety of Jesus Christ, and other issues, we came to an impass. Every point that I made, he rejected. He also tried to tell me that his Allah and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were the same God. This interaction between us prompted me to look very closely at foundations of what I believe. There is just no way that both faiths can extrapolate backwards to common ground. I eventually told him that there was only one possible source for his "holy book", and that it wasn't God. That was the end of our dialogue. All that we can do in situations like this is to expose them to the Word and let the Holy Spirit do the work. Dave in Ontario, Canada
